These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of VerifiPath’s website and related SMS-based verification service (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. About VerifiPath

VerifiPath provides mobile number verification and secure link delivery as the first step in creating or accessing a VerifiPath account. The Service helps confirm that the person attempting to create or access an account is the rightful user of the mobile number provided. VerifiPath does not provide financial, lending, insurance, or legal services and does not make eligibility or approval decisions.

2. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must:

  • Provide accurate information when submitting your mobile number.
  • Confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of the number you provide.
  • Use any secure link provided to you solely for your own VerifiPath account.

3. SMS Messaging Program

When you submit your mobile number through VerifiPath, you may receive text messages (SMS) related to account verification and secure link delivery. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Messages are used for verification, secure link delivery, and related transactional notices only.
  • Messages are not used for general marketing campaigns.
  • You may receive a limited number of messages per verification attempt, typically 1–3 messages for verification and reminders.
  • Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

To stop receiving messages related to a given verification, you can reply STOP to any message. For help regarding messages, you can reply HELP or contact us at support@verifipath.com.

4. Carrier Disclaimers

Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of SMS messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is outside of VerifiPath’s control.

5. Privacy

VerifiPath’s handling of personal information, including mobile numbers, is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined there.

6. Security

VerifiPath implements reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed via the Service. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your devices and any secure links you receive safe and confidential.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to impersonate another person or access someone else’s account.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Use the Service for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. VerifiPath disclaims all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VerifiPath will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date below. Your continued use of the Service after any changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
